We provide specialized industrial painting services designed to protect structural steel from corrosion, wear, and environmental damage, thereby extending the life and performance of your structures across diverse applications.
Comprehensive Painting System
Our painting process involves multiple layers of high-performance coatings applied in a controlled environment to ensure maximum durability and aesthetic appeal:
- Zinc-Rich Primer (DFT Controlled)
- Acts as a sacrificial anti-corrosion layer
- Provides excellent adhesion to steel surfaces
- Typical Dry Film Thickness (DFT) maintained as per project specs (usually 50-80 microns)
- Meets standards such as IS 2074, ASTM A780, and SSPC Paint Specification
- Epoxy Intermediate Coat
- Provides a tough, chemical-resistant barrier
- Enhances adhesion between primer and topcoat
- Ensures resistance to abrasion, chemicals, and moisture
- Suitable for aggressive industrial environments
- Polyurethane (PU) / Fire-Resistant Top Coat
- PU coatings offer high gloss, UV resistance, and weather protection
- Fire-retardant coatings are applied where fire safety norms demand
- Provides a smooth finish with excellent color retention and surface hardness
- Certified fire-retardant paints comply with ASTM E84 or BS 476 standards
Surface Preparation
We strictly adhere to surface preparation protocols critical for paint system performance:
- Sand/Soda Blasting to Sa 2½ cleanliness standard or better (as per ISO 8501-1)
- Removal of mill scale, rust, grease, and contaminants
- Profiled surface for improved mechanical bonding (minimum 50 microns surface roughness)
- Environmental controls to ensure proper curing and coating integrity
